Tiivistelmä
Virtual Reality is becoming the new Human-Computer Interaction domain with the advancement of devices and technologies. However, with the market demand for VR applications, it is worth finding how VR applications meet user need by evaluating applications using UX and Usability evaluations. For answering this question, a systematic literature review was carried out finding related literature from databases EBSCOhost, Scopus, ScienceDirect and Google Scholar. After filtering, screening and quality assessing, 36 papers were selected for final analysis. Identified UX and Usability evaluation method were coded from the papers and developed themes namely ‘proposed new frameworks’, ‘VR questionnaires’ and ‘using existing UX evaluation methods.’ Existing methods includes subthemes pre-tests practices, observations, interviews and post-test questionnaires. Previous studies and reviews did not mention one framework fitting all VR applications, but UX and Usability evaluation procedure for VR has similarities with the general UX and Usability evaluation of a digital application. Therefore, VR evaluation can also be done using the same techniques according to the literature.
