Potential role for next generation nuclear technology for data centers in Finland

Abstract

This bachelor´s thesis explores the potential role for next generation nuclear technology for data centers electricity production in Finland. The objective was to examine nuclear power and SMR technologies, data centers and their increasing energy demand. The conclusion of this thesis is that SMRs will most likely have a key role in electricity production for data centers.
