Tiivistelmä
Abstract

This paper emphasizes on performance analysis of a flexible wearable antenna designed for 5G applications near human body model. The 55×46x0.4 mm 3 antenna features a slotted circular ring patch as the radiating element, uses polyester as the wearable substrate, and has a partial ground plane on the underside providing a bandwidth of 300 MHz between 3.50 and 3.80 GHz and 160 MHz between 4.86 and 5.02 GHz. Since the antenna is wearable the functionally of the antenna must be required to investigate near human body. SAR assessment has performed throughout the entire bandwidth to ensure the safety of the wearer (maintaining SAR within the safety regulation of ICNIPR, threshold 2W/kg per 10g of tissue).
